    As Subcontract Manager Simulation, you'll play a vital role, contributing to various technical activities related to Electrical & Automation systems for new ship designs, maintenance, and refits. Your responsibilities encompass everything from definition and procurement to engineering and installation. The focus is on ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements and specifications, with the ultimate goal of enhancing production efficiency, reliability, quality, safety, sustainability, and overall efficiency within the portfolio. 

    In your role of Subcontract Manager Simulation, you will:

    • Contribute to integration activities in complex medium-value projects and assist the Technical Subcontract Manager responsible for the total contracted scope.
    • Contribute to basic engineering packages for standard and new products, aligning with relevant information, specifications, and applicable regulations.
    • Review detailed engineering packages based on the basic engineering package, identifying and suggesting improvements.
    • Participate in project design reviews, contractual milestones, and tests, including FAT, HAT, and SAT as the accepting party.
    • Provide support in proposal evaluations, technical assessments, and cost/price analyses.
    • Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of department processes while fostering the development, transfer, and retention of knowledge within the team.

    Functie eisen

    As Subcontract Manager Simulation, you need:

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of three years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a technical discipline with at least one year of pertinent experience.
    • Comprehensive expertise in electrical installations and/or automation systems, particularly within Navigation and Communication systems for ships or offshore installations.
    • Proven track record of working on class-regulated products within complex project environments involving vendors and subcontractors.
    • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, and preferably possess Dutch and German language skills.
    • Strong references and a clean antecedent record, as pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process.
    • EU citizenship (non EU profiles will not be considered).

    • Depending on your experience, an annual gross salary up to € 68.000 per year.
