In this role, you will lead the outfitting engineering efforts, concentrating on accommodation and technical spaces outside the engine rooms. Working with a team of outfitting engineers, you'll leverage your technical expertise to ensure that outfitting arrangements are functional, maintainable, and ergonomically designed.

As (Sr) Interior Outfitting Engineer - General Arrangements, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing 2D and 3D tools like Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia) to perform engineering tasks.
  • Ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Creating detailed information, such as arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings.
  • Driving continuous improvement and growth within the department.
  • Establishing and documenting yard standards to boost operational efficiency.

Functie eisen

  • EU CITIZENSHIP mandatory due to the military nature of the projects.
  • Secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) in an outfitting discipline.
  • At least four years of experience in engineering outfitting systems.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).
  • Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations and outfitting systems, ideally within the maritime or offshore industries.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
