Mechanical EquipmentOur client, a prominent player in offshore equipment manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of purchased goods and services aligns with the agreed specifications, making it a crucial position for maintaining high standards in their operations.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that components and systems meet the required quality standards through thorough inspections. These inspections will be conducted both internally and at supplier locations

- Conducting product inspections according to the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
- Serving as the main point of contact for all quality control matters.
- Leading quality assurance processes, both domestically and internationally, and managing corrective actions.
- Reviewing and validating quality assurance documents, such as Welding and NDT documents, ITPs, and MRBs.
- Maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
- Visiting suppliers to validate order progress and discuss detailed plans.
Functie eisen
- Higher vocational education in mechanical engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection related to welding, materials, fabrication, preservation, and rotating equipment.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch (beneficial), both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing sequences, and coating techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, installation, and commissioning processes for offshore mission equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with inspection agencies such as Lloyds, BV, and DNV.
