Assistant Project Manager (German Speaker)

Key accountabilities:

• Substantive support the Project Director to provide administrative support to the project board, and other duties, including scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, administration, handling visitors, answering questions and requests.
• Prepare meetings, makes meeting protocols and monitor appointments.
• Take care of communication and ensures the provision of information.
• Play an active role on analysing project issues and helps trouble shooting within the project
• Support the Project Director in the execution of the project from effective date of contract (EDC), which includes all engineering, manufacturing and supply chain activities needed to finalize projects within project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Assist in the development and implementation of all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the project organization achieve project objectives.
• Ensure all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment are in place and maintained at all project sites.

Apart from a minimum administration  experience of 5 years supporting a Senior Manager, you need to have:

• Bachelor degree and experience in a similar role in a technical complex setting.
• Understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques.
• Good command of the English and German language written & verbal.
• Competencies: flexible, pragmatic and (environmental) awareness, can get to the heart of an issue quickly and style and level flexibility.
• Able to frequently travel between Netherlands (base) and Germany
• Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening are a standard part of the recruitment procedure.
