Electrical & InstrumentationDo you want to help build our ultra-luxury superyachts? Are you an experienced Project Lead with electrical knowledge and know-how, available full-time and do you want to work at both our locations in Amsterdam and Kaag? Then respond quickly!
Deze vacature is reeds ingevuld. Helaas kunt u hier geen aanvraag meer voor indienen.
We build superyachts together and as Project Lead Electrical at Royal Van Lent Shipyard you are substantively responsible for the electrical part of a Feadship within the project team. You do this from the contract up to and including the warranty period. In concrete terms, this means that you are responsible for the technical E design, making technical application specifications, and that you assess the technical and solutions of suppliers. The E discipline within the project management department is responsible for all electrical issues within Royal van Lent. This includes project support, engineering support, standardization, service and refit support, E-supplier selection, calculations, innovations and flag state and class related items.
You work closely with the responsible managers phase. Think of the Hull Manager during the construction of the hull, the Engineering Manager during the engineering phase and the Outfitting Manager during the actual production phase at one of our shipyards (Kaag and Amsterdam). You are part of one or more project team(s) and the substantive project owner for the electrical part of the superyacht. You are an advisor and therefore an important linking pin with the designers and contracted suppliers. Thanks to your substantive knowledge, you can easily translate the wishes or requirements of the customer or architect into feasible solutions, while monitoring the more/less costs.
In general terms, your time allocation will look like this:
The ideal candidate has at least HBO work and thinking level and a completed Electrical Engineering degree (or comparable). You have knowledge of the yacht building process, knowledge in the field of system integration and you have experience with project-based work.
You are used to working together on large projects and you never lose sight of your own scope. We expect you to have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
