Production Engineer Outfitting

ExteriorBecome part of the Outfitting Design Department of one of the biggest shipyards in Germany to actively work on the completion of one of the latest and largest luxury cruise vessels.
The exciting part of this position is that you will create the designs for the outfitting equipment and check them directly in the yard to avoid implementation errors.

Taken
- Work on the designs for equipment components such as railings, stairs, sports courts, windows, Jacuzzy, etc;
- Control that the designs have been correctly applied to the equipment components in the yard;
- Evaluate and edit designs when errors are visible and find solutions to unresolved issues;
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations;
- Document work procedures, technical reports and service logs;
- Work closely with responsible parties to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
Functie eisen
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Field Engineer/ Design Engineer/ Production Engineer in the field of Outfitting;
- Mandatory experience working on a yard. Additional experience with cruise ships is a plus;
- Proficient in AVEVA, AutoCad and MS Office;
- High proficiency in both German and English is mandatory;
- Relocation to Wismar, Germany required;
- EU-citizenship or possession of a German Blue card is required.
