Your area of interest in on the integration of 3D design for non-technical layout spaces (such galley, gym, crew public spaces) and focus on the functionality and ergonomics of users. - Detail technical specifications for joinery works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to verify joinery meets required standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless integration of joinery with ship systems.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to select materials and suppliers for accommodation joinery and insulation.
- Provide technical guidance to production, resolving project issues promptly.
- Develop functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on customer and design requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of joinery specifications, changes, and project progress.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices for joinery works.
Functie eisen
- Deep knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience as a Technical Specification Engineer or similar role, with a focus on joinery works in the maritime industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with naval vessel construction processes and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at interpreting complex engineering data.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
