 You are passionate about designing complex ship types and aspire to be part of the process of retrofitting and building exclusive yachts and cruise ships. In the role of a Basic Outfit Design Engineer, you will work on an impressively extensive product portfolio encompassing luxury yachts and special ships. You will contribute to reshaping the yacht-building sector in this exciting role where you will be joining a team that is working on some impressive projects, aiming to bring in great success.

Taken

  • Design and/or model independently (complex) elements of shipbuilding outfit: doors, hatches, windows, stairs, railings, foundations, deck equipment, sun awnings, etc.;
  • Creating (especially complex) sketches, drawings, calculations, and equipment lists, as well as reviewing designs and providing advice on detailed designs;
  • Collaborating with production and commissioning departments, serving as a point of contact across departments;
  • Identifying opportunities for organizational, process, and method improvements within the team and ensuring compliance with international and class standards.

Functie eisen

  • Relevant education in a related discipline combined with at least

            5 years of relevant working experience;

  • Experience in the yacht building industry and proficiency in AutoCAD and CadMatic is required;
  • Good English skills and the desire to learn the German language;
  • EU citizenship or a German Blue Card, along with relocation to Germany, is a requirement!

Voorwaarden

  • Depending on the years of experience, we offer a competitive gross annual salary, of

€ 65.000,-;

  • In addition, we provide a net tax exemption amount of € 150,- monthly;
  • We want to contribute to your success and understand that growth sometimes requires assistance. Therefore, we offer you a German language course to further develop your communication skills;
  • To fully experience the beauty of this amazing country, our transportation compensation includes a German railroad subscription;
