Naval Architect - Shipbuilding (Vessel Design)

Your Role: More Than Just an Engineer, you will be the link between clients, sales, and the organization, providing innovative design.

In this role, you will take on the crucial position of a Designer in the pre-contractual stage of vessel projects. You will serve as the link between the client, sales, and the broader organization, ensuring that what is promised can be delivered, both technically and economically. Your job will be to translate customer requirements and industry standards into innovative vessel design solutions. By working closely with cost estimators, sales teams, and other stakeholders, you will help craft designs that both satisfy client needs and align with legal and regulatory standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Hydrostatic and Hydrodynamic Calculations  to create efficient and effective vessel designs.
• Technical Drawings: Generate detailed drawings, including general plans and constructions, for weight determination and structural integrity.
• Collaborative Discussions: Participate in meaningful discussions with shipping companies and subcontractors. Here, you'll assess considerations like loading capacity, speed, ship layout, and the integration of products such as motors and cranes.
• Cost Estimation Input: Provide vital information to support accurate cost estimations.
• Concept Development: Play a pivotal role in developing new concepts to expand our client's vessel portfolio.
