We are seeking for a Mechanical Design Engineer in Germany to assist in the completion of one of the latest and largest luxury cruise vessels. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the biggest shipyards in Germany, working with the latest software’s creating both detail and production drawings.

Your duties will include conducting thorough quality checks between design drawings and 3D models, updating technical databases and providing essential support during technical negotiations.

Taken

Edit design drawings (P&ID diagrams, arrangement drawings, principle sketches, assembly drawings);
Collaborate closely with the responsible project engineer to arrange all necessary project documentation;
Generate detailed articles and parts lists within the ERP system and manage technical databases;
Evaluate design drawings against 3D model designs and ensure the precise alignment and accuracy;
Provide assistance to project engineers during technical discussions with suppliers, clients, authorities and interdisciplinary collaboration;
Review and file documents formally in the document management systems.

Functie eisen

3+ years experience as a technical draftsman/ designer;
Proficiency in AutoCad, AVEVA and MS Office;
Strong communication in English (German language is a plus);
Initially based in Wismar (relocation required), future hybrid work possible;
EU-citizenship required.

Voorwaarden

Competitive salary;
A net allowance of €150,- monthly (with a maximum of €3000,- over a period of 12 months, after which this is terminated);
Pension insurance;
Paid National Holidays (approx. 10 days per year);
Paid sick leave;
Paid overtime;
Commuting costs: it`s up to a maximum of €50,- per month, with the "Deutschland-Ticket" as it is commonly referred to;
Assistance with your relocation, i. e. registration, legal and fiscal matters, and housing advice.
