ICSS Engineer

As a Senior ICSS Engineer, you will oversee the design, development, and commissioning of ICSS systems from proposal through to start-up. Your role will involve collaboration with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust systems tailored to offshore operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal/Concept/FEED Phase:

• Review client requirements and participate in system selection.
• Design system architecture and prepare I/O estimates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory regimes, classification requirements, and company standards.

Basic/Detail Phase:

• Develop detailed system designs, including hierarchical shutdown levels, cause & effect diagrams, and safeguarding philosophies.
• Participate in safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP, SIL assessments).
• Prepare ICSS RFQs, review vendor quotes, and lead vendor selection.
• Act as package engineer, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Conduct inspections and tests such as Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Integrate package units with ICSS while ensuring alignment with standards and requirements.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• At least 8 years of experience with advanced ICSS systems in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with international offshore codes and standards.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and safety awareness.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across disciplines.
