For Scheepswerf Slob in Papendrecht we are looking for an HSE Coordinator Yacht Building. In this position, everything revolves around promoting working conditions, in particular the safety, health and well-being of employees. Scheepswerf Slob has a covered slipway for hulls and yachts of up to 130 meters and pre-assembly and section halls. Five halls in total, two of which contain the hulls under construction. With the help of, among others, ironworkers, welders and pipe fitters, the hull rises. Top craftsmanship. The steel hull, for example, must become mirror-smooth. And the installation of piping, cables, motors and foundations involves precision work in sometimes very small spaces. Various departments, such as the drawing office and work preparation prepare the work. It is an impressive ceremony every time the hulls leave the hall to be finished at the shipyards into mega yachts. A total of 175 permanent employees work at Slob. In addition, depending on the construction phase, flexible employees and subcontractors work there. You have an independent and varied role, in which you stimulate all activities that can lead to a reduction of the burden on people and the environment. The aim is to increase safety awareness among colleagues and to take steps up the safety ladder. - You work about 80% in the office and you can find about 20% in the yard;
- You motivate colleagues to work safely and you do not hesitate to take measures and address colleagues about their behavior when the situation requires it;
- You come up with proposals for improvement with regard to working conditions, environmental policy, processes and developments;
- You develop toolboxes and ensure the correct procedures;
- Manages the BHV organization and the prevention staff;
- Keeps the RIE up to date and ensures follow-up of the action plan.
