As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and performance of engineering applications, contributing directly to shipbuilding excellence.
- Application Management: Provide functional support for CAD/PLM software such as Siemens NX, 3DX, CATIA, or Cadmatic, ensuring optimal usage across engineering teams.
- PLM Library Maintenance: Manage and update the PLM library to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a complex engineering environment.
- Bridge Between Engineering and IT: Translate customer needs into system configurations, allowing engineers to efficiently modify and refine designs.
- System Configuration: Design, implement, and oversee system parameters, ensuring the right modules and attributes are in place for smooth workflow.
Functie eisen
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar position, preferably in a corporate environment as part of a staff department.
- Experience in application maintenance, preferably within a technical, complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in hull, electrical or mechanical engineering is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level in IT or other relevant discipline.
- Experience with a broad understanding of multiple systems (CAD, PDM, ERP) is preferred.
- Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).
- Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates who only have an NL/EU work visa or who hold both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible, in accordance with the security requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
