As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and performance of engineering applications, contributing directly to shipbuilding excellence.
- Application Management: Provide functional support for CAD/PLM software such as Siemens NX, 3DX, CATIA, or Cadmatic, ensuring optimal usage across engineering teams.
- PLM Library Maintenance: Manage and update the PLM library to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a complex engineering environment.
- Bridge Between Engineering and IT: Translate customer needs into system configurations, allowing engineers to efficiently modify and refine designs.
- System Configuration: Design, implement, and oversee system parameters, ensuring the right modules and attributes are in place for smooth workflow.
Functie eisen
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar position, preferably in a corporate environment as part of a staff department.
- Experience in application maintenance, preferably within a technical, complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in hull, electrical or mechanical engineering is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level in IT or other relevant discipline.
- Experience with a broad understanding of multiple systems (CAD, PDM, ERP) is preferred.
- Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).
- Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates who only have an NL/EU work visa or who hold both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible, in accordance with the security requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects. Please note that if you do not meet this requirement, we cannot proceed with your application.
