In your role of Electrical Coordinator, you will join the Electrical project team, and cooperate on a daily basis with other disciplines such as Outfit, Systems, Piping, Constructions and Interior.
In addition, you will:
- Reporting to the PME, you will realize and supervise availability of all engineering documents.
- Develop planning and delivery schedule of engineering documents, together with your manager and third parties.
- Act as point of contact for relevant Authorities, Owner's Rep, Designers and Subcontractors, ensuring the smooth progress of day-to-day activities and general alignment of the engineering work.
- Ensure that potential issues with the planning and project progress are tackled and solved on time, instructing third parties about standard and working methods.
- Ensure the correct and accurate information flow, internally and esternally.
- Lead, develop and motivate your assigned team of in-house professional, taking over tasks of the design team during contract phase when necessary.
- Define the scope and limits of the discipline, and coordinate the Engineering package during the production and overall building process.
As Electrical Coordinator, you have:
- Relevant education and work experience in a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience within the maritime industry, ideally yacht building.
- Experience in basic and detailed (electrical) design.
- Knowledge of MS office application, and AutoCad.
- An eye for details, without missing the global picture.
- Proactive, persuasive and decisive approach.
