Senior Engineer (Drive & Controls)

In your role of Senior Engineer (Drive & Controls) you will contribute to projects by working with your colleagues at designing complex control systems for our Client's equipment. In addition, you supervise and support during the detail design phase and work closely with vendors. 

As Senior Engineer (Drive & Controls), you:

• Design and verify complex control systems, in line with Class and standards (internal and external)
• Design and engineer electric and hydraulic drives
• Develop and test control systems
• Perform calculations to prove the design
• Stay on top of developments and working methods in the industry
• Ensure quality at all times and work within requirements and set budget
• Design and engineer E&I systems
• Interface with several engineering scopes

The Senior Engineer (Drive & Controls) will need:

• MSc or BSc in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or similar discipline)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the design of complex mechanical equipment
• Proactive and analytical mindset, combined with a positive attitude and eagerness to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in modelling and simulation
• Previous experience with control systems
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Phyton, etc.
• Experience with EPLAN
• Excellent English skills
