Cost Estimator - O&G EPC Background

As a Cost Estimator, your responsibilities include:

• Update the comprehensive estimating schedule regularly.
• Formulate the Estimate Execution Plan and obtain approval.
• Validate and adjust commodity prices as needed.
• Prepare and review the Project Benchmark sheet, ensuring checks and balances before submission.
• Use the designated tool to create the estimate within the agreed timeframe.
• Collect market prices and adjust bids in collaboration with Procurement and Contracts, including final quantities.
• Maintain and periodically refresh pricing models and the Knowledgebase pricing.
• Deliver the outputs as specified in the Estimate Execution Plan.
• Develop the Basis of Estimate and seek approval.
• Maintain the Benchmark database with actual project cost data.
• Standardize and prepare actual project cost data for the benchmark database.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Over 5 years of cost estimating experience in oil and gas or EPC industries.
• Expertise in Cleopatra or similar cost estimating software.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Advanced data mining and management skills using Excel, Access, Power BI, etc.
• Excellent communication abilities.
