Buyer

In your role of Buyer, you will join the Supply Chain team within the Purchasing Department and will be responsible for material requirements and related activities.

In addition, you:

• Ensure materials and services are purchased according to cost, terms and conditions, quality and schedule
• Together with internal stakeholders and relevant disciplines, define procurement strategies
• Receive and evaluate quotations
• Conduct negotiations with chosen suppliers, perform commercial analysis and evaluate received bids
• Cooperate with other engineering disciplines to receive technical evaluations
• Compare costs and prepare recommendation to purchase to stakeholders
• Manage PO's and follow up
• Handle VOs, in concert with the Project Manager
• Ensure your involvement at any stage when it comes to key project matters, schedule, planning and organization
• Work in concert with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of goods

In your role of Buyer, you will need:

• MSc or BSc or equivalent relevant experience
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience within offshore 
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent English knowledge (Dutch is considered an advantage)
