Senior Automation Engineer

As Senior Automation Engineer you will be involved from the initial phase of the project by performing design proposals and calculations. In the execution phase you will develop engineering documents together the engineering team. 

Specifically, you will:

• Develop specification documents, functional descriptions and schematic drawings
• Develop validation plans
• Prove the design by performing the required calculations
• Support the Purchase Department during the cost analysis on received offers
• Work in line with requirements set by customer and class
• Ensure vendors and subcontractors are performing on time and according to project's needs
• Support in preparing proposals to customers
• Support with technical matters and/or during commissioning activities.

As Senior Automation Engineer, you need:

• MSc or BSc in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
• Previous experience within the design and installation of (complex) automation systems, ideally gained within shipbuilding or oil & gas or similar industry
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• EU citizenship combined with excellent antecedents are both mandatory requirements (NON EU profiles will not be considered)
