As Public Area Interior Engineer / Designer, your main areas of focus are:
- Technical management of the assigned project team
- Support in capacity planning for the project
- Ensure the development and compliance of project-specific targets
- Process implementation and reporting of process weaknesses to the department head
- Status reporting to the sub-project manager and the department head
- Regular exchange/coordination with other areas of the company (such as purchasing, production, etc.)
- Contact person for suppliers, class and customers
- Negotiation and technical coordination in cooperation with purchasing with customers, suppliers and class
- Project costing and weight forecasting responsibilities
- Derivation and implementation of measures in the event of target deviations from the project
- Implementation of risk management with regard to the project goals to be met
- Control of change procedures/processes
To be successful for this role, you must have / be:
- 5+ years relevant years of experience, shipbuilding experience is mandatory
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field
- Ideally, with first hand experience in project management
- Strong planning, solution-oriented and structured
- Excellent communication skills at all levels. Business English is critical, German language skills is a great plus

- EU citizen or with valid Germany visa residency
