- Assist the Project Manager Engineering (PME) in defining and managing the project scope.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, internal guidelines, and external regulations.
- Work with other Project Engineers to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.
- Identify technical obstacles and propose collaborative solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Supervise the timely processing of information and modifications by engineers.
- Manage communication and documentation with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Inform the PME of missing or incorrect details, potential issues, or delays.
- Provide clear technical and quality guidelines to both internal and external engineers.
- Evaluate the feasibility and manufacturability of designs in consultation with various disciplines.
Functie eisen
- Higher professional education with at least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of production and engineering in yacht and/or shipbuilding.
- Excellent communication skills – able to convey messages clearly, actively listen, and effectively clarify positions in meetings.
- Analytical thinker – able to approach situations from multiple perspectives, think abstractly, make connections, and logically organize complex issues.
- Team player – collaborates effectively, fosters a positive work environment, and encourages cooperation among colleagues.
