Project Engineer - Offshore Energy

Our client, involved in cutting-edge projects, such as offshore platforms, FPSOs, and emerging fields like offshore hydrogen production, is looking for Project Engineers to coordinate interdisciplinary teams on offshore projects, support project management in budget, planning, and quality, lead specific projects, manage client relations, and handle technical and contractual documentation.

Taken

  • Oversee interdisciplinary coordination of the engineering team for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Assist the Project Manager with tasks related to budget management, scheduling, deadlines, and quality control.
  • Act as Project Leader for certain designated projects, taking full responsibility for execution.
  • Manage commercial relationships with current and potential clients, and oversee tender processes for multidisciplinary projects.
  • Make key decisions regarding interdisciplinary challenges and overlaps within the project.
  • Provide support in the preparation of project specifications, including technical documents, draft specifications, contracts, and general terms and conditions.

Functie eisen

  • Local-based candidates are highly desirable
  • Solid experience in the offshore industry, with the ability to apply this knowledge towards effective project design and execution
  • Proven background in various technical roles within an engineering environment, such as Project Engineer, Lead Engineer, or similar positions; Electrical background a great plus
  • Strong negotiation skills for working effectively with both clients and contractors.
  • Flexibility to work both in-office and on-site at client locations as needed.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, is essential. Dutch preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and project demands.
