Senior Systems Verification Engineer (Interim)

Project ManagementYour responsibility will be to ensure compliance with set requirements by conducting document appraisal, design reviews, and traceability of project deliverables. Reporting to the VV&A manager, you will also ensure the traceability and verification of requirements, including physical testing.

Tasks
- Collaborate with Test & Integration teams to define, validate, and verify requirements (including VV&A test specifications).
- Develop and refine system requirements, breaking down cross-functional rules into specific items.
- Link requirements to documentation, define verification cases (VeCs) in the VCRM, and specify test specs (TeCs) for physical tests.
- Determine and execute the correct Means of Compliance for assigned systems.
- Provide evidence and substantiation to ensure all requirements are met.
- Facilitate agreement on system specifications, VCRM details, and acceptance processes with the customer.
Job requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Engineering. An Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or similar certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the design, engineering and verification (V&V) of high-tech complex products, preferably in ships, offshore equipment, or relevant industrial installations.
- Experience with Configuration Management, Requirements Management, and Systems Engineering principles and practices.
- Good understanding of the VV&A process, maritime systems, and working with class-regulated products.
- Experience in dynamic mid-size project environments with high complexity, collaborating closely with both project teams and customers.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Proficiency in Dutch and German is advantageous.
- Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects. - Please note that without this requirement in place, I am unable to proceed with reviewing your profile.
