Tasks
- Collaborate with technical sales to craft conceptual solutions, involving planning, work breakdown, architectural design, system calculations/verifications, and defining technical scopes of supply.
- Aid in the implementation of engineering objectives and deliverables outlined in contracts, ensuring alignment with company standards and requirements.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of engineering schedules and progress tracking, working closely with the Project Planner.
- Assist in coordinating resource allocation with the department manager to optimize project efficiency.
- Provide support in managing the electrical, automation, and hydraulics engineering team to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Partner with the Product Coordinator to safeguard project intellectual property rights.
- Play a role in coaching and developing Project Team members, fostering their growth in line with team lead/line manager guidance.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant field, coupled with at least 10 years of pertinent work experience.
- Basic managerial capabilities and a keen aspiration to lead a diverse Electrical and Automation engineering team in the future.
- Fluent command of English, both verbal and written. Dutch is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EPLAN P8, AutoCAD, and Matlab Simulink, Simpowersystems, SKM Powertools.
- Fundamental understanding of classification societies' regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Office Suit
