Tactical Purchaser

In the role of Tactical Purchaser, you will be part of one or multiple project teams. You will report to the PM Procurement, and you will be responsible for the purchase of products, materials, and services.  

As Tactical Purchaser, you:

• Are on top of cost trends for key commodities
• Oversee suppliers' contracts
• Research and evaluate national/international suppliers and sub-contractors, on a project basis
• Quality and evaluate suppliers and drive improvement processes
• Category management, strategy, implementation and execution
• Inform about budget and cost price calculations
• Develop and maintain quotation evaluations/key figures
• Execute and coordinate the purchase process according to procedures and project
• Develop framework contracts. standardize, monitor/maintain them 

As Tactical Purchaser, you will need:

• BSc in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering or similar) combined with at least 4 years of relevant experience within purchasing
• Negotiation skills, independent mindset, and hands on mentality
• Nevi 1 and 2 (or willingness to obtain them)
• Excellent English knowledge (Dutch is considered an advantage) 
• EU citizenship combined with excellent antecedents (NON EU profiles will not be taken into consideration)
