Tasks
- Analyzing and evaluating customer specifications to develop HVAC concepts for marine ships.
- Conducting transmission calculations, creating performance tables, and various construction lists.
- Specifying HVAC components for supplier inquiries.
- Selecting and designing in-house system products.
- Providing customer support and occasional on-site supervision for technical discussions.
- Reporting to project and department management.
Job requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Energy Technology, or Supply Engineering. Alternatively, a state-certified technician in Heating/Climate/Ventilation.
- Strong knowledge in calculation, design, and optimization of HVAC systems.
- Initial experience in 1-D simulation.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Experienced in using MS Office products.
- Professional experience in the repair of refrigeration systems in shipbuilding and/or offshore (preferable).
- EU Citizenship
