Marine Systems & Piping

We're seeking a Specialist to join the world's leading naval shipbuilder, ensuring the realization of comprehensive system models for the most complex and advanced naval ships navigating our seas.

Employing system architecture frameworks to enable seamless integration from enterprise to system level, you will be responsible for the vessel’s functional behavior and establishing traceability from the concept of operation to technical solutions.

Tasks

  • Define and update system modelling processes;
  • Evaluate and select suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools to facilitate system development, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to architectural principles;
  • Conduct comprehensive system analysis to comprehend functional and non-functional requirements, perform safety assessments, and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs with mitigating strategies to guarantee system reliability and performance;
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams, continiosly enhance system architecture practices and engage in effective communication with stakeholders such as engineers, architects and clients.

Job requirements

  • Must have several years of Experience in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and requirements engineering;
  • Proficiency in advanced system modelling techniques, including SysML, system architecture frameworks such as UAF;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure;
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
