As Software Engineer, you will join a project team, and you will responsible for the entire AV/IT process, from software engineering to vessel release to the client.
What are you going to do?
- Translate functional specifications into working programming to meet the unique AV/IT needs of each yacht project.
- Conduct software engineering and establish a functional working environment in our test room for rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Program and configure hardware components to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance within the AV/IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate AV/IT systems with other vessel components, ensuring a cohesive and interconnected solution.
- Identify and resolve software and hardware issues through systematic troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving techniques.
- Participate in ongoing efforts to enhance and optimize software solutions, staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
- Engage with clients to understand specific requirements, provide regular updates on software development, and address any concerns or feedback.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in software engineering and AV/IT systems development.
In your role of Software Engineer, you need:
- MSc or BSc in a relevant discipline such Electrical Engineering, Embedded software engineering, IT, combined with previous work experience.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL or similar).
- Experience with programming languages such as SIMPL, C#, C++, Javascript, HTML, etc.
- Proactive approach, combined with a passion for innovation.
- EU nationality OR NL-based.
