Tasks
- Design and develop systems and equipment, creating related schematics and specifications.
- Perform system calculations and draft technical specifications.
- Manage the entire component lifecycle, from order placement and design to manufacturing support during commissioning and sea trials.
- Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and project managers.
- Manage interfaces between various disciplines and systems for your assigned components.
- Assist project management in evaluating contract changes and customer requests, and contribute to the preparation of proposals.
Job requirements
- A degree in engineering, technician, master craftsman, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in designing or installing mechanical systems and components.
- 3 + years of experience
- Experience in communicating with client representatives or inspection authorities (e.g., classification societies).
- Independent working style, strong communication skills, and technical understanding.
- Experience in maritime industry
- Proficient in English
- EU Citizenship or German Blue Card
