Project ManagementUtilize your requirements engineering expertise to establish clear, testable specifications and manage them in our Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
Link verification test specifications (TeCs) to the correct verification cases (VeCs) and ensure full alignment with customer and maritime regulations.
Drive V&V activities to confirm each system—from propulsion to radar—meets strict criteria.
Partner with Test & Integration, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers to plan and conduct tests.
Communicate design updates and compliance findings regularly, facilitating seamless systems lifecycle management.
Oversee onsite testing on complex maritime systems, providing technical substantiation through data analysis and identifying any gaps or discrepancies.
Propose and implement corrective actions swiftly to maintain strict physical testing & compliance standards.
Keep meticulous records of verification outcomes, changes to requirements, and test results—providing clear evidence of compliance to stakeholders.
Perform thorough document appraisal to uphold traceability of project deliverables, supporting robust design reviews and ensuring a transparent path to progressive system acceptance.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ASEP or similar Systems Engineering certification is a plus).
Professional Experience: 5+ years in design, engineering, or verification (V&V) within high-tech, complex product environments (preferably shipbuilding, offshore, or maritime systems).
Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of VV&A processes, Requirements Management, and Configuration Management; familiarity with class-regulated product standards is crucial.
Team Player: Thrives in mid-size, high-complexity projects and excels at cross-functional collaboration.
Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or German is a bonus.
Security Clearance: Strong professional references are required due to a mandatory security screening.
EU Citizenship: Permanent EU passport is mandatory for military-grade projects; unfortunately, non-EU or visa-holding candidates are not eligible.
