Senior Structural Engineer - Topside

 Your responsibilities involves:

• Taking charge of the Structural Topside team in significant offshore projects, assuming the position of Discipline Lead Engineer when assigned.
• Handling the structural design aspect of Topside facilities, with a focus on tanker conversions and the construction of new hulls for FPSO and FLNG projects.
• Providing technical support and consultation to both the discipline and project teams, particularly in addressing intricate problems.
• Extending support to the Technology Development department for FPSO, FLNG, and Renewable product lines, contributing to the launch of novel products and technologies in the market.

You will  have higher chance of success if you:

• Hold an MSc or BSc degree, or equivalent Professional Certification, in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Naval, or Aerospace Engineering, specializing in the structural analysis of offshore topside structures.
• Possess around 10 years of experience in structural offshore engineering, including at least 4 years in a leadership position.
• Demonstrate extensive experience and solid technical knowledge in the structural analysis of topside structures across conceptual, basic, and detailed design stages.
• Showcase a proven track record in Engineering & Design of topside facilities for floating production units (FSO's, FPSO's, FLMG’s) in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Display a thorough understanding of structural interfaces with related disciplines like piping, topside integrations, and other equipment integrations.
• Be familiar with the regulations of classification societies and exhibit proficiency in structural design software, such as GeniE, SACS, and Staad Pro.
• Exhibit professional communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Possess strong team management capabilities.
• Demonstrate initiative, creative thinking, and the ability to innovate new designs and concepts.
