Tasks
As a Senior Engineer within the Engineering Department, you ensure that the mechanical engineering design complies with the technical specifications and classification societies. You take care of the detailed engineering of a part of a yacht and you independently ensure that drawings meet the standards and norms and that they are delivered within the agreed time. You will work out diagrams and combination drawings in collaboration with other disciplines such as HVAC and electrical, in order to deliver a complete engineering package to the Production department. You will also provide support and guidance to the Mechanical Engineers.
Job requirements
For this position you must at least have:
- A completed bachelor’s degree,
- Good work experience in the ship or yacht building sector (preferably 60+ meter Yachts),
- Computer proficient with the CAD drawing package, Siemens NX, Team Center and other basic software,
- For this position it is necessary that you are fluent in the English language and that you are willing to learn Dutch.
