In this  position, you will play a crucial role in driving digital innovation at a world-leading high-tech shipbuilder. You will develop data pipelines and work closely with the Data Science and Digital teams to transform data into actionable insights. We're looking for a Scripting Engineer responsible for managing requirements in naval shipbuilding. Proficiency in languages with a C#/C++-like syntax is a key component of this role.
 

Tasks

  • Set up, configure, and maintain the requirements model in DOORS, the requirements management tool.
  • Develop data pipelines for advanced data analytics solutions.
  • Lead the pathway to data-driven decision-making.
  • Support projects following Systems Engineering methods.
  • Create queries, views, dashboards, and reports on the status of requirements in DOORS.
  • Script in DXL (DOORS Extension Language), which has a C#/C++-like syntax.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Affinity with AGILE, SCRUM way of working in sprints and with GITLAB or equivalent for software version control;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, along with a strong motivation to learn Dutch;
  • Familiarity with DXL, or affinity with C-like syntax and experience with VBA are beneficial;
  • Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening and investigation are a part of the recruitment procedure (given the military nature of our projects);
  • EU citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the project and the requirements set in place.

  • Salary in line with client's stipulations;
