We are seeking for a Quality Inspector (Machinery/ Piping / Systems) in North Germany to assist in the completion of one of the latest and largest luxury cruise vessels. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the biggest shipyards. Your duties will include conducting quality inspections, identify and promptly adress any defects and generate comprehensive quality reports.

Tasks

  • Conduct thorough quality inspections on various construction projects, which may include assessments of machinery, piping and systems.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and stringent safety protocols throughout all project phases.
  • Identify and promptly address any defects, deviations, or non-compliance issues, offering effective recommendations for resolution.
  • Generate comprehensive quality reports that highlight findings, recommendations, and progress tracking.
  • Keep abreast of evolving industry regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain the highest level of quality control.

Job requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience in the field.
  • Proven prior experience in Quality Control within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong team player.
  • EU Citizenship or German Blue Card

Conditions

  •  Competitive Salary;
  •  Net allowance of € 150,- monthly (with a maximum of €3000,- over a period of 12 months, after which this is terminated);   
  •  Pension insurance;
  •  Paid National Holidays (approx. 10 days per year); 
  •  Paid sick leave;
  •  Paid overtime;
  •  Commuting costs: it’s up to a maximum of €50,- per month, with the 'Deutschland-Ticket,' as it is commonly referred to; -
  •  Assistance with your relocation, i.e. registration, legal and fiscal matters, and housing advice.
