Naval ArchitectureWe're looking for an experienced engineer with good working experience in yacht building industry for the renowned shipyard in the Netherlands.
As a Project Manager Engineer, you will be focusing on:
• Determining the budget;
• Work size (division of labour);
• Scheduling;
• Complexity of projects;
• Collecting data during the start-up of projects for the main planning and consult with the yard and subcontractors of the yard;

The goal of the Project Manager Engineering is to contribute to the building of unique superyachts by applying the engineering skills on the construction and by putting in use the communication skills, organizational talent and helicopter view. Also, in this position, you distinguish yourself by giving daily leadership in an inspiring way to a project team where you show courage and dare to take (responsible) risks.
The Project Manager Engineering focuses on:
• Determining the budget;
• Work size (division of labour);
• Scheduling;
• Complexity of projects;
• You collect data during the start-up of projects for the main planning and consult with the yard and subcontractors of the yard;
• The Project Manager Engineering is involved in the prioritization in the project and is responsible for the progress control and the content of the project.
The ideal candidate has at least hbo/wo working and thinking level and a completed education within shipbuilding. You have industry and managerial experience within ship or yacht construction and have experience with design and engineering processes. You both have an excellent command of the English language.
