Tasks
- Oversee interdisciplinary coordination of the engineering team for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Assist the Project Manager with tasks related to budget management, scheduling, deadlines, and quality control.
- Act as Project Leader for certain designated projects, taking full responsibility for execution.
- Manage commercial relationships with current and potential clients, and oversee tender processes for multidisciplinary projects.
- Make key decisions regarding interdisciplinary challenges and overlaps within the project.
- Provide support in the preparation of project specifications, including technical documents, draft specifications, contracts, and general terms and conditions.
Job requirements
- Local-based candidates are highly desirable
- Solid experience in the offshore industry, with the ability to apply this knowledge towards effective project design and execution
- Proven background in various technical roles within an engineering environment, such as Project Engineer, Lead Engineer, or similar positions; Electrical background a great plus
- Strong negotiation skills for working effectively with both clients and contractors.
- Flexibility to work both in-office and on-site at client locations as needed.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, is essential. Dutch preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and project demands.
