Project Engineer - Exterior Outfitting (Yacht Building)

As a Project Engineer, you will ensure top-tier engineering results across your discipline. You will collaborate with experts and guide teams in executing exceptional yacht designs.

• Lead and manage the engineering scope within your discipline.
• Control quality, budget, and timely delivery.
• Oversee the final design, technical specifications, and 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations (Class & Flag).
• Provide innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination.
• Mentor and supervise junior and senior engineers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including the Owner’s team.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

• At least 7 years of professional engineering experience within the yacht building / shipbuilding sector. Shipyard experience is a big plus!  
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams in shipbuilding projects.
• Deep technical knowledge of yacht construction methods and production processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, or a closely related field. 
• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD; experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic is highly desirable.
• Very good English communication skills, Dutch language a great plus. 
• EU citizenship  required, with the exception on candidates with 10+ years of experience in yacht building wherein visa sponsorship may be provided (case by case basis).
