Our client, a leading shipbuilder, is looking for a Product Designer  to support their system engineers in designing engineered systems and components using AutoCAD and Inventor. This temporary role, with a good chance of extension beyond 2024, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative maritime projects.

Tasks

  • Support system engineers in designing engineered systems.
  • Create detailed designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Ensure designs are compatible with ShipConstructor software.
  • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to meet project requirements.

Job requirements

  • Experience in the process/manufacturing industry, particularly with plants and piping systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong technical drawing and design skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus.
