Marine Systems & Piping

As an experienced Engineer Marine Systems (P&ID) you will contribute to the design and engineering of sophisticated piping systems for high-end naval vessels. You will be responsible for analyzing technical specifications, developing and modeling engineering packages, and ensuring seamless integration of piping systems in line with the highest standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will be vital in driving the successful execution of complex maritime projects.

Tasks

  • Analyze piping system specifications and assess them to ensure alignment with project requirements, regulatory standards, and design principles.
  • Develop and model P&IDs using 2D modeling tools, ensuring accurate representation of piping systems, equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Produce engineering packages that include P&IDs, making sure all documents are precise and meet established design standards for production.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams to optimize the design and integration of piping systems, while focusing on P&ID accuracy and consistency.
  • During project reviews, proactively identify any design or specification issues within P&IDs, offering solutions and adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure all P&ID designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing by documenting and presenting P&ID design decisions and methodologies.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechanical or piping engineering) .
  • Proven experience in developing, analyzing, and interpreting P&IDs for piping systems in complex engineering environments.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software for piping systems.
  • Experience working on complex, high-end naval or offshore vessels.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Must be a permanent EU citizen with an EU passport.
