Join our client, a renowned shipbuilding company in Germany, as an Electrical Commissioning Coordinator. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge ship projects, overseeing the commissioning and testing of electrical systems.

Tasks

  • Lead the commissioning of electrical machinery, power generation, and auxiliary systems in shipbuilding projects;
  • Coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring timely and efficient project execution;
  • Maintain high-quality standards by updating test specifications and construction documentation;
  • Manage technical interfaces and serve as the primary contact for authorities and clients;
  • Analyze and solve technical issues proactively;
  • Align commissioning and testing documents with contracts and regulations;
  • Organize and oversee sea trials and document results;
  • Prepare regular progress reports to ensure transparency.

Job requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the field of electrics and several years of professional experience;
  • Qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman would be an advantage;
  • Ideally, authorization to switch and STCW-relevant certificates;
  • Experience in working with document management systems, databases and MS Office;
  • Fluent German and English;
  • Ability to work in a team and success-oriented way;
  • Communication skills, confident manner and goal-oriented approach.
