Tasks

  • As a Naval Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, specification, integration, and evaluation of complex marine systems. Whether it’s propulsion integration, tender design, or developing P&IDs and system descriptions, you will be involved in designing and engineering next-generation naval solutions.

    Tasks:

  • Work on the design and engineering of naval/marine systems (propulsion, P&ID systems, HVAC, firefighting, auxiliary systems).
  • Utilize 2D/3D CAD software to create engineering models and technical documentation.
  • Ensure seamless integration of propulsion and auxiliary systems.
  • Participate in tender design work and system descriptions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative marine engineering solutions.

 

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in marine systems design, propulsion integration, or naval/offshore engineering.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools and knowledge of marine system engineering best practices.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); Dutch proficiency is preferred or willingness to learn.
  • Strong ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and work with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment security screening.
  • Permanent EU citizenship is mandatory due to the military nature of the projects. Applications from non-EU citizens will not be considered.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
