Tasks
As a Naval Architect in the detail engineering phase, you will be involved in the core of the structural development of award-winning yachts. You will use advanced modeling tools and hydrostatics knowledge to ensure world-class vessel design.
Your responsibilities include:
Modeling and designing structural components using Siemens NX and/or Cadmatic.
Performing hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations to support vessel stability and performance.
Translating design concepts into detailed engineering drawings for construction.
Collaborating with engineers, planners, and production teams.
Supporting the integration of hull, deckhouse, and outfitting components.
Ensuring compliance with class regulations and engineering standards.
Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement in yacht design.
Job requirements
EU citizenship or existing rights to work in NL for non-EU mandatory as visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
3-10 years relevant experience in yacht building (MUST). Shipyard experience highly desired.
Experience with 3D design and engineering tools, ideally Siemens NX and/or Cadmatic.
Familiarity with hydrostatic and hydrodynamic principles.
Strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving, and a passion for precision.
A proactive team player who takes initiative and works well in collaborative environments.
