We are looking for mid/senior Mechanical Engineers - Mechanical Equipment with experience in the maritime industry to be involved in the concept, engineering and construction phases of the project. We have several exciting opportunities in Niedersachsen area and throughout north Germany as well as in The Netherlands.

Tasks
- Design and layout of mechanical equipment and components for marine applications;
- Management and coordination of projects, including time and resource planning, as well as monitoring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards;
- Conducting mechanical equipment analyses and simulations to ensure the performance and reliability of the systems;
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, reports, and drawings as well as presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders;
- Collaborate closely with other departments, suppliers, and customers to develop and implement technical solutions for mechanical equipment.
Job requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification and at least 3 years of professional experience in marine systems or a related industry;
- Sound knowledge in the design and development of mechanical equipment, ideally in marine applications, as well as experience with common CAD-tools;
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in performing mechanical equipment analyses and simulations;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, a high level of initiative, and a structured and independent way of working.
