Test and Integration Manager

In your role, you will join the Test & Integration department where you will develop and execute production plans inspection, test, and trials of new build vessels. In addition, you will provide reviews, and project support during the test and trial phase. You will then address deviations to key suppliers. 

As Test and Integration Manager, you will:

• Set and develop the integration and test program in line with the design, timeline and targets;
• Together with the management,  set up processes such as templates, work instructions and tools;
• Set up, execute and coordinate test and trails, including FAT, HAT and SAT, according to the master project plan, specifications, deadlines;
• Review and approve engineering documents together with the project team and suppliers;
• Develop test strategy, means of compliance for suppliers requirements, client and class, and document the outcome in the sVCRM and VCRM;
• Set guidelines to the preparation and approval of test specifications before the execution of physical tests;
• Liaise with V&V Coordinator to ensure alignment of compliance via physical tests with compliance via verification activities such as engineering reviews, progressive acceptance of engineering deliverables;
• Ensure the compliance, progress and budgets, and intervene when needed;
• Prepare compliance status reports during production, trials and tests;
• Ensure the project team is provided with the required capabilities to perform its activities.

In your role of Test and Integration Manager, you need:

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar technical background;
• IPMA C certification, or equivalent;
• Previous experience within complex new build ships at yards;
• Previous experience in subcontract management of electrical and mechanical systems;
• Knowledge of various engineering concepts and practices;
• Experience within the engineering and integration of electrical, automation and mechanical systems in a complex environment;
• Good knowledge of English (Dutch and German are an advantage);
• Availability to travel and work abroad;
• EU citizenship and excellent antecedents (NON EU profiles will not be considered).
