Lead Structural Engineer - Offshore Energy

In the role of Lead Structural Engineer,

• You will create designs, calculations, and models for  a range of projects such as offshore platforms (jacket and topside design); mostly greenfield projects
• You will lead the team of structural engineers in detailed engineering projects and validate detailed calculations.
• The position involves direct interactions with clients to ensure their needs are addressed.
• Lead the structural discipline interface with the Mechanical, E&I, HVA/C and piping teams 
• Prepare structural deliverables such as basis of design; weight control report and procedure; structural analysis/calculations;  typicals for welding, penetrations, ladders, stairs, drainbox, hatch, joints, plating, grating; grillage and sea fastening design, etc. 

• Relevant Technical  Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a  reputable university
• Has worked for engineering company for at least 5 - 7 years, offshore preferably, with at least  4 years experience in the same position or team lead capacity 
• Experienced in greenfield structural basic and detailed engineering in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Software and Technical skills:  SACS (Structural Analysis Computer System); MathCAD; Ansys; good knowledge of the relevant international codes and standards 
• Communicative: good  English communication skills
• A true problem-solver and out-of-the-box thinker; flexible and a good team player
