Tasks
- Design and plan HVAC systems and equipment, including developing related system schematics,
- Conduct preliminary studies for proposal preparation, perform technical calculations, and draft technical specifications,
- Select, manage, and oversee subcontractors,
- Coordinate with other departments, classification societies, flag states, and customers,
- Assist project engineers during the pre-contract phase and in ship product development.
Job requirements
- Degree in supply engineering, technical building equipment, plant operation technology, or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in designing and constructing mechanical systems and components, ideally within a shipyard's design department
- Familiarity with the regulations of classification societies, flag states, and other institutions (e.g., IMO)
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and solution-focused
- Proficiency in English
- EU Citizenship or German Blue Card
