ExteriorIn close collaboration with our client, a leading yacht builder with a rich history in Dutch luxury yacht construction, we are looking for an Exterior Specialist. This professional is passionate about high-quality design of luxury yachts and has experience in delivering the final design on time.
As an Exterior Specialist, you will provide direction to detail engineers and focus on the development and construction of luxury yachts. You'll work closely with various specialists and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the senior engineer, your expertise is indispensable in ensuring the feasibility of each stage of the process

Tasks
- Integration of materials and exterior doors with other disciplines.
- Development of the layout of deck, ceiling, and railings.
- Coordination of the shaft line and rudder system in close collaboration with engineers and senior engineers from related disciplines.
- Creation of a local arrangement of the exterior, paying attention to feasibility and manufacturability, including exterior furniture, stairs, columns, and sunshades. This requires close cooperation with various disciplines, such as supervisors, senior engineers, various related disciplines, and suppliers.
Job requirements
- Relevant work experience in yacht building, preferably with knowledge of high-quality materials and finishing levels.
- Skilled in creating mechanical engineering drawings for assemblies and individual parts.
- Proficient in setting schedules and deadlines.
- Experienced in making time estimates and task lists for feedback to the senior engineer.
- Knowledge of production techniques and part manufacturability, as well as weight estimation.
- Experience with the following software programs, including AutoCAD, NX, SolidEdge
- Your application can only be successfully processed if you are eligible to work in the Netherlands and have fluent communication skills in Dutch.
