In this role, you will be joining an international high-tech naval shipbuilder. As an experienced and motivated Technical Author / Engineer Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) in an interim position, you will work alongside a team of highly specialized shipbuilding professionals. You will play a pivotal role in managing projects related to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) scope and services for naval vessels.

Your focus will be on enhancing the availability and operational readiness of naval ships while optimizing lifecycle costs, ensuring the highest efficiency over the entire life cycle of the ships.

Tasks

  • Conduct ILS analyses, including Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and other related ILS studies.
  • Evaluate and report on the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) of naval equipment.
  • Collaborate with technical design teams and provide reports to the Project Manager ILS.
  • Work on ILS deliverables such as purchase support, maintenance/LSA plans, RAM and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) calculations, supply support, documentation, training, and transfer of technology.
  • Develop ILS products and services in compliance with applicable requirements and end-user expectations.
  • Deliver contractual ILS packages within time, budget, and quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to drafting and reviewing ILS proposals and advancing ILS processes, methodologies, and products.

Job requirements

  • Proven expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and technical documentation standards (e.g., S1000D).
  • Experience in conducting LSA, RAM, and LCC analyses.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
  • The ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic projects.
  • Effective communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment security screening;
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are mandatory due to the military nature of projects (applying without this will not result in a successful match);
  • Occasional travel may be required.
