Engineer Combat Systems

As Engineer (Combat Systems) you will be involved in a variety of tasks within the design, installation, verification, maintenance and refits of Combat Systems onboard naval ships.
You will bring your own knowledge in matters related to sensor systems, weapon, command, and control systems, contributing to their integration onboard.

As Engineer (Combat Systems) you will:

• Review basic and detailed Combat Systems packages according to relevant information and specifications., providing suggestions for improvements when needed.
• Cooperate with several internal and external parties.
• Oversee the work of Subcontractor(s) and suppliers, ensuring a timely delivery.
• Work in concert with the technical subcontract manager to define, establish and validate functional and physical interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Support the proposal, engineer, and production departments, as needed.
• Participate to tests and trials.
• Cooperate with warranty authorities.

In your role of Engineer Combat Systems, you bring:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, acquired ideally within the maritime industry, and on complex projects, combined with a MSc or BSc in a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, to efficiently interface with different departments and parties.
• And in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and practices.
• Excellent English skills.
• Availability to travel occasionally.
• EU citizenship (mandatory requirement due to the military nature of our client's projects).
