Our client is looking for Electrical Engineers to join the development of high-performance offshore converter platforms. These platforms play a crucial role in wind energy transmission and contribute significantly to the energy transition. The Electrical Engineers will be part of an innovative team and work on cutting-edge offshore energy solutions.

Tasks

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing complex electrical systems within offshore energy projects. Your key tasks include:

  • Managing and overseeing complex subassemblies in systems such as automation, power generation, and power distribution.
  • Technical management of construction tasks and control systems.
  • Coordination with procurement teams and technical negotiations with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Supervising and mentoring designers and technical draftsmen.
  • Providing support and guidance to apprentices and interns.

Job requirements

    As an Electrical Engineer, you need:
    • A degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Several years of experience in electrical engineering, experience in offshore projects is a must.
    • Solid CAD skills and experience in technical planning and design.
    • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
    • German language skills are highly desirable.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with an independent and solution-oriented work style.
    • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.

    Conditions

    This is a remote opportunity from Europe, with occasional travelling to Germany. Freelance is possible.
