Marine Systems Engineer

Marine Systems & PipingOur client is seeking a skilled Marine Systems Engineer to join the mechanical engineering team at their earliest convenience. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of one of Germany's most renowned shipyards, celebrated for its diverse range of special-purpose vessels, ferries, and yachts. Responsibilities include climate cooling, freshwater systems, tank venting, and waste drainage.

Tasks
- Tasks in the field of supply engineering, which include air conditioning and cooling, fresh water, clean seawater, bilge, tank ventilation, and deck drainage
- Development of technical concepts and creation of specifications for the approval and procurement process
- Design and calculations of ship operation systems
- Creation and maintenance of schematic piping diagrams based on the construction specification and classification regulations in collaboration with our product design team
- Technical coordination with customers and suppliers, as well as the evaluation of offers and creation of decision proposals
- Technical risk and cost assessment
- Collaboration with other engineering departments and manufacturing
Job requirements
- A completed degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent technical training (m/f/d)
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and good skills in MS Office
- A confident and independent work style, assertiveness, and strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Good German in spoken and written
- EU Citizenship or German Blue Card
